Words & Music by J.C. Hyke
Well I’ve been on line for two days straight
My brain is fried like shake and bake
I’m addicted I’ve lost all control
I’ve surfed the world from pole to pole
She takes the mouse and looks me in the eye
And says you log off or this is goodbye
(You better log off )
Now baby slow down, don’t have a cow
See I’m almost done, in fact it’s coming in now
She said hey, your file’s done but I got some bad news
Girlfriend alert you’ve downloaded the blues
(Downloaded the blues )
She started throwing out clothes everything that was mine
I began to panic so I got back on line
I searched a million books and every chat room
Some kid from Jersey said I was doomed
She grabbed the keyboard, the only sound I heard
Was her typing Dear John on Microsoft word
(She was typing Dear John)
Man she blew a fuse, and I’ve lost my connection
I’ve been uninstalled, no virus protection
She said the highway you’ll be taking requires your shoes
Now take a hike you’ve downloaded the blues oh yeah
(You downloaded the blues )
My surfing mistress has betrayed me by downloading the blues
